Since September, the Energy Park has been located just a few meters away from its previous site at the new address Fischamender Straße 12a in Bruck.
The Bruck Energy Park has been in existence since 1995. In the 28-year history of the company, the office location in Bruck has always been rented at different addresses. For the last location, located directly next to the district administration, the state of Lower Austria as owner has announced its own demand in the course of the district merger of Bruck/Leitha and Schwechat in 2017, because the BH Bruck/Leitha needs more space as a result. Many variants were played through, finally the decision was made to erect our own building. After the intensive planning phase, construction work started in March 2022, and despite restrictions due to the Corona crisis, it was possible to stay on schedule.
After 28 years, the energy park has generated its own office. The company moved at the end of August, and since September 2023 the new address has been Fischamender Straße 12a in Bruck/Leitha. The newly constructed building is directly connected to the parking lot of the district headquarters and includes a workshop for the service technicians as well as about 30 workstations and three meeting rooms. It was important to be able to stay with the office location of the city, emphasizes Managing Director Michael Hannesschläger, “we wanted to use as little space as possible and also make sure that it is easy to get to us, whether on foot, by bike or by public transport. And it was particularly important to us to compensate for the area sealed by the construction with the green terrace and roof area. We have now “lifted” the meadow onto the roof, so to speak.
In the new office building, attention is paid to the greatest possible cost efficiency and economical, resource-conserving use of all materials. The building is heated by means of heat pumps with geothermal energy, the controlled ventilation ensures an optimal climate and economical energy consumption throughout the year, the goal is the highest possible energy self-sufficiency. The e-charging stations for the company fleet are supplied by the photovoltaic system on the roof. Natural, earthy colors emphasize the connection to nature and create appealing, modern workplaces for employees.
“Our team has grown over the last few years, and we would have had to think about how we could have converted the previous location to accommodate all employees. So it has now turned out well. We are very pleased and really proud that we can now move into our own office building – after 28 years of always renting,” says Energiepark founder Herbert Stava. All guests were able to see this for themselves during the guided tours of the site during the site opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, numerous companions, friends and well-wishers joined the team from Energiepark Bruck/Leitha in celebrating the new office building and congratulating them on their new location.
