Info evening: Clean heating and renovation

On 27.11.2025, KEM Carnuntum hosted a cross-municipal information event at the Kulturhaus Petronell, which focused on the new funding opportunities for boiler replacement and renovation. The aim was to provide citizens with comprehensive information about the opportunities offered by the current renovation campaign.

Focus on energy efficiency

At the beginning, the numerous advantages of energy-efficient refurbishment measures and a modern, climate-friendly heating system were presented. The focus was on both environmental aspects and long-term cost savings for households.

KEM Manager Tina Rigler hosted the evening and explained the key points of the new funding programs.

Lecture: “Clean heating for everyone”

A highlight of the event was the presentation by energy consultant Ralf Roggenbauer. He provided detailed information about the “Clean heating for all” program, which supports low-income households in particular. Thanks to the high subsidy rates, even financially disadvantaged households can replace their old boiler with a sustainable heating system – almost completely subsidized.

Exchange and expertise from the field

After the presentations, guests had the opportunity to continue the conversation over light refreshments. Plumber Peter Cinadr was on hand to answer practical questions about the implementation of heating projects, while energy expert Ralf Roggenbauer answered individual questions about subsidies and technology.
